House in a Barn is now multi award-winning! At the RIBA South Awards 2026, it won Building of the Year, the Sustainability Award and a RIBA South Award 2026. The judges said: “House in a Barn presents a bold vision for how reuse in architecture can look and feel in the hands of caring, knowledgeable, and skilful architect-builders.” A huge thank you to the owners and all our collaborators including Giraffe Engineering, Nick Bulley Designs and Rachel Tilley Interiors.

A modern corridor features slatted wooden walls casting striped shadows, a blue cupboard on wheels, and a white washbasin with a bronze tap set in a wooden frame. Sunlight streams through the structure, highlighting the clean, minimalist design.
