House in a Barn is now multi award-winning! At the RIBA South Awards 2026, it won Building of the Year, the Sustainability Award and a RIBA South Award 2026. The judges said: “House in a Barn presents a bold vision for how reuse in architecture can look and feel in the hands of caring, knowledgeable, and skilful architect-builders.” A huge thank you to the owners and all our collaborators including Giraffe Engineering, Nick Bulley Designs and Rachel Tilley Interiors.

Transforming heritage with a modern touch, Artel31’s latest completed project House Through the Red Gate is a stunning example of blending old and new. Originally two listed Cotswold stone byres, this farmyard conversion now features a fully glazed open-plan kitchen, creating a seamless connection between house and garden.
